We were all up at 6:00AM to begin the day – as well as our journey home.
By 6:50AM, we were checked out of the hotel and in an Uber headed to SFO. The drive took about 15 minutes and George loved every single second of it. Luggage check in took more than a few minutes, but we sailed through TSA Pre-Check.
Once we cleared security, John and George picked up some coffee and pastries from Peet’s and I filled our water bottles for the flight. While we waited for our departure, John and George watched (more) planes depart.
We boarded the plane on time and with ease, and had an on-time departure.
George is a really great traveler and was content watching videos and playing games on his iPad.
When breakfast was served, George (and John too!) enjoyed an omelette, sausage, potatoes, fruit, and a cinnamon roll. George literally ate every morsel of food that was placed before him.
I enjoyed my Whole 30 compliant breakfast (more on that in another post).
George watched shows on his iPad, John worked, and I read for the rest of the flight.
Our direct flight to Houston took about 4 hours and we were home (after a grocery store run) around 4:30PM.
We had a great trip to San Francisco and Yosemite and we were blessed with great weather and safe travels. Like any other wanderlust, we can’t wait until our next adventure!
