After another restful evening of sleep, John and I woke up ready to tackle Saturday. We had breakfast on our patio and then made our way to Puerto Aventuras to run a wedding-related errand. Once we got back to the hotel, we made ourselves comfortable in one of the hotel’s beach beds.
For lunch we shared guacamole and nachos. The nachos were fantastic – must have been the chorizo. Chorizo! Now, why didn’t I think of that?
After a few hours of lounging, John and I got ready and made our way back to Puerto Aventuras for Caroline & Johann’s wedding. Set at the beautiful Hacienda del Mar, the wedding was absolutely gorgeous.
The decor was chic and the couple looked radiant and very much in love. Bliss! Caroline wore my wedding veil as her something borrowed. Didn’t she make a stunning bride?
After the ceremony, we had a nice time chatting up our fellow wedding guests, enjoying the mariachi performance, drinking champagne during the cocktail hour and dining on great food. I also really enjoyed the wedding cake.
Don’t they look happy? Here’s wishing Caroline & Johann a lifetime of happiness, laughter and love!
