I had a really wonderful weekend — did you? This may sound odd, but after a hectic work week, I thoroughly enjoyed a weekend of organizing, laundry, unpacking, repacking, running errands and spending time with John. Getting back to a normal routine definitely puts me in a happy place. I also did a long run on Sunday morning — 8 miles! If I haven’t mentioned it already, I have started using Daily Mile. Here are my training stats for last week (M-Sun).
It’s a great way to keep track of my running. If you are a runner, you may want to check it out (if you haven’t already!). Afterwards, I cleaned up and went to the airport for a quick work trip to New Mexico. Everything went well and I returned home late this afternoon. 18 months into my job, it seems like I am finally getting used to very quick work trips involving a mix of planes, rental cars and hotels. Never say never! While in New Mexico, I picked up a
palate few boxes of GF macaroni and cheese from Trader Joe’s.
I know it is processed, but holy moly it’s tasty! I stirred in some steamed broccoli to add some nutrition to my dish. Delicious!
I tried to watch The Bachelor, but I just cannot get into it. Call me crazy, but I really don’t have time this go-round for overly staged reality TV drama. I know, I am shocked too!
