Heading to Phoenix…

Before I talk about where we are going, let me tell you about last night! John and I attended the Houston Mod (read about the organization here) Holiday Party at the newly renovated New Regional Planning offices.  This is a sweet office space! In addition to saying hello to friends, John and I were there to receive a 2011 Preservation Award for our work on Cliffwood.

So Cool! Anyhow, today John and I are heading to Phoenix to spend Christmas with the Arnold family.  I am completely dreading flying today (I can’t imagine what the airports are going to be like!), but really have no choice in the matter. Hopefully we will arrive in Phoenix without delay or major incident. Cross your fingers, light a candle, etc. Please! Before we go, however, we are having our annual Christmas Eve lunch at Da Marco today.  We really love our holiday tradition and I don’t mind a bit that we are moving it up a day to accommodate our travel plans. See ya soon…from Arizona!
