We held our family garage sale today! Yay! To be clear, the ultimate goal of our sale was to get rid of clutter. If we made some money…great. If we didn’t…that just meant our Goodwill donation would be even bigger! So, at 7:30 this morning we opened our sale in my parent’s garage. Among the sale items were clothing, household goods, electronics, sporting goods and linens.
Since we set everything up the night before, all we had to do was open up the garage sale. All morning long we had a steady stream of patrons. Items were flying of the tables! Then, things slowed way down. Even Dixie was bored.
I took advantage of the break to have a snack of a nectarine, crackers and almonds.
After a last-minute rush, we decided to shut things down around 1:30ish. All said and done, we walked away with a little over $300.00. Yay! No clutter and we made money! Money for things we weren’t using! After taking the leftovers to Goodwill, we are going to try to enjoy the rest of the day. Have a great one!
