I spent about 90 minutes at the Chicago Marathon Expo this morning. First things first, I picked up my marathon picket and bib.
Next came the shirt.
It’s actually cute this year! And, it is dri-fit! Now, let’s get onto the good stuff! I received a lot of coupons, information, sample products and snacks!
I also swung by the Nike Center and picked up a long sleeve CM 2010 shirt and hat. I think these are so cute!
I also spent some time at the Sweaty Bands booth and picked up a more than necessary amount of these.
I LOVE these. If you have not experienced the wonder of Sweaty Bands you need to give them a try. These are fabulous! Finally, when visiting the Runner’s World Booth I got a chance to meet Bart Yasso — running extraordinaire!!!
He signed a copy of his book for me…
…and gave me 10 minutes of running advice. This is exactly the reason why it is a good idea to go to a race expo early in the morning — no one is there and you get the good stuff! Needless to say, I had a wonderful experience at the race expo – thanks, Chicago Marathon!
