RunChi — Week 8

Today marked the end of my eighth week of training. Only 10 more weeks until the marathon! This is what my week looked like:

  • Monday – Cross Training (45 minute walk on the treadmill)
  • Tuesday – NCSL 5K
  • Wednesday – Rest
  • Thursday – 6.5 mile run(Louisville)
  • Friday – 5 mile run
  • Saturday – 7 mile run (treadmill)
  • Sunday – 15 mile run (Memorial Park/downtown Houston)

That’s 36.7 miles this week! I had to move some things around due to scheduling, but it all worked out.   In the future, I am going to work hard to prevent myself from doing 3 days of significant running in a row (Friday-Sunday).  I’m so tired…but it is off to Week 9! :mrgreen:
