RunChi Training – Week 7

Today marked the end of my seventh week of training. Yes – Seventh! Only 11 more weeks until the marathon! This is what my week looked like:

  • Monday – Cross Training (45 minute walk on the treadmill)
  • Tuesday – 4 mile run & 3 mile walk (neighborhood)/strength training (helped Julie move)
  • Wednesday – 7 mile run (treadmill)
  • Thursday – 4 mile run (treadmill)
  • Friday – Rest
  • Saturday – 7 mile run (treadmill)
  • Sunday – 14 mile run (Memorial Park/downtown Houston)

That’s 36 miles this week! As you can see, things are getting pretty tough. Long runs + humidity + busy work schedules = nervous Shelly!  One thing at a time, right? 😉
